What's Your Favorite Kind of Hershey Kiss?

On Monday the children performed a taste test on 5 different types of Hershey Kisses.  While they were tasking they had to write about each type and in the end choose their favorite.  We are learning how to write a strong opinion paper about our favorite type.  

Snow Globes

On the "Snowy Day" we had back in December we did a special art project making snow globes.  

SPINNING THE WHEEL WITH MR. BACON

The class earned 10 stars back in December on Mr Bacon's star chart.  Mr. Bacon brought down the wheel and Patsy was able to spin for the prize.  The wheel landed on ice cream treat!  Ask your child what the class earns stars stickers for.

Making Snow

We have been learning about snow the last couple of weeks.  They had an opportunity to read, write and then finally make snow.  Check out their great work on the bulletin board outside our classroom.  

BLT Badge Kiddos

We have 6 amazing students who have earned their BLT Badges.  We also have a few who have turned in applications and some that are working on getting their application.  Way to go second graders.  Stay tuned for an updated photo with the new recipients.
